Who We Are

Rescue Ranch began with Joshua and his loyal companion, Loki, two adventurers with one shared dream: to create a place where every dog can feel safe, loved, and free. After seeing how many dogs were stuck in stressful kennel environments, Josh set out to build Western Australia’s first free-range rescue sanctuary — a true ranch where dogs can run across open paddocks, sleep under the sun, and heal in nature instead of behind bars.
Today, that dream is expanding into a real, physical property: a spacious, purpose-built sanctuary with fenced fields, enrichment zones, shaded resting areas, community spaces, and a dedicated rehabilitation barn. Rescue Ranch is built for dogs to live like dogs — running wild, exploring safely, and rediscovering joy. With Loki as our inspiration and ambassador, and a growing community behind us, we’re creating a sanctuary where freedom and second chances are part of everyday life.
